Batteries
Battery and Power kits are available to power patient’s CPAP and BiPAP machines. The portable battery units allow machines to run for at least 8 hours and enable patients to be independent from an electrical outlet. Travelling is so much easier with the battery power kit. Battery kits also come in handy when the electrical power is out due to a storm or utility hazard. DC cables are another handy accessory if patients need to charge their machine through their car’s cigarette lighter socket or CPAP battery.
Power Cords are specific to the machine and the manufacturer. Often patients who travel frequently will buy an extra in case they lose their original. Please read all of the information included with your machine to understand how to use external power supply options and about their features.
