Double-Plush Blue Gel Cushions

The thick, versatile gel that fills the cushions of the ComfortGel Blue are so noteworthy, it gets a mention in the name of the mask. The ComfortGel Blue really wouldn’t be the same mask without the fine-shaping qualities of its gel, which allow users to obtain a custom fit for their unique noses and face sizes. Sure Seal Technology makes use of the cushion and the inflatable membrane to create a powerful, long-lasting seal. Do you still have the older version of the gel mask at home? Since the frames for both the old model and the ComfortGel Blue are the same. Are you a sleeper who needs a lot of wiggle room during the night? The ComfortGel Blue enables you to move freely with its two swivels at the top of the hose.

Forehead Pad Promotes Balance

Comfort doesn’t just stop with gel in the nasal cushion. The forehead pad of the ComfortGel Blue with Headgear is packed with the same plush gel to give you a stable and luxurious CPAP experience. Adding a greater sense of balance, the forehead pad also contributes to an even distribution of pressure. You won’t believe that wearing a CPAP mask can feel this good.

Headgear Adjusts to Accommodate Your Needs

The ComfortGel Blue headgear both stretches and increases tension in order to accommodate sleep apnea patients of many shapes and sizes. Just as some people prefer to wear their jeans tighter to show off their curves, while others prefer a style that’s more lax, people have different preferences for the settings on their headgear straps. That’s why the ComfortGel Blue includes not one but four points for alteration. Thanks to the ball-and-socket removal mechanism, there’s no need to struggle with awkward clips and fasteners late at night.

Compatible with System One Resistance Control

The ComfortGel Blue with Headgear works in tandem with the Philips Respironics System One machines to give you a therapy that’s completely in-sync. Each mask has a different physical features, and thus a different inherent resistance to pressure. The System One Resistance Control functions by recognizing the individual mask according to a number printed on the model, and then the System One device adjusts to deliver a customized air stream with just the right amount of pressure to ensure the mask operates at peak performance.

Slanted Elbow Ventilation

Just as you are about to slip into a delightful dream, you hear a familiar whistling and rushing noise. Suddenly, a burst of air blasts onto your upper arms and shoulders, and just like that, you’re wide awake again. If this scenario keeps happening to you night after night, then it’s time to try the ComfortGel Blue and to get out of that nightmare. Diffused air comes out through small exhalation ports on the mask elbow, which steers air away from your body and from your bed partner. By spreading airflow out over a wider area, the mask operates more quietly overall. Don’t let apnea or your ventilation interrupt your sleep.
